April Favorites
Happy April! With spring in full swing, I can’t wait to share with you what I am loving right now.
Paule Marrot for Natural Curiosities
From the proprietary archives of legendary textile artist, engraver and painter Paule Marrot (1902-1987) comes this beautiful, wide-ranging collection of prints. Working primarily from 1920-1960, her rich colors and striking geometry put her at the heart the Art Deco movement. Influenced by Renoir and writer Marcel Proust, Marrot captured the natural world in a simple, lyrical style that makes her work as engaging and contemporary today as it was during the height of her popularity.
Every piece of this collection, available framed or unframed through Natural Curiosities, brings a smile to my face. The colors are beautiful and vibrant and sure to bring on the Spring all year long.
Ciao Milano Tess Rain Jacket
If April showers bring May flowers than you certainly need a stylish raincoat! I have a Ciao Milano rain jacket and absolutely LOVE it. It’s soft, comfortable and waterproof all wrapped up in a pretty jacket.
Bunny Love
Here comes Peter Cottontail…It’s that time of year. I have always loved bunnies and this time of year, you can find fun ones for your home everywhere. The fun mural above definitely puts a modern spin on the subject.
Oversized Euro Pillow Fillers From Macy’s Hotel Collection
These oversized 28" x 28" down alternative euro pillow, hypoallergenic inserts are my “go to” favorite fillers for 26” x 26” shams. They are so plump and are a great value when purchased on sale.
Queen Anne Mirror
I love the shape of a Queen Anne style mirror. This one in particular is quite substantial at 50” tall, but the simple, clean lines keep it from being too heavy. The bevel edge frame keeps it pretty and adds lots of sparkle.
Hope you find a little something to put a little Spring in your step! Thanks so much for reading.
XO,
Anne
